How I work

I believe you already know the answers. It's my job to ask the questions.

I will push you to hold your chaturanga longer than you want to. Intensely, because I care about you. Intensely, because this practice changed my life.

Four ways to level up

Start where you are. Every step is a level above the last, on the mat and off it.

Level Above Yoga School

Not all teacher trainings are created equal.

A 200-hour certificate tells you how long someone trained. It doesn't tell you how well they learned to teach. Level Above trainees study anatomy, philosophy and methodology, get direct feedback, and demonstrate real competence before they graduate.

About Lindsey

I've been called the
Intensive Care Bear.

I started Power Yoga because of a boss I found extremely irritating, and because I was promised it "counted" as a workout. Something weird happened. The person who left the studio wasn't the irritable, blaming one who'd left the office.

Then a teacher said, "if you love this practice, consider it's time to start teaching it." Commence snowball on steep slope.

Oh, and that boss? Not actually irritating. It was me. I see that now. Yoga.
